DMEH Data Submission

Date:
Tuesday, June 26, 2018 - 14:45

In 2018-19 Devon Music Education Hub has agreed to increase the amount of Music Education Grant (MEG) devolved to school clusters and to prioritise delivery of WCET as a primary requisite for receiving MEG.

The majority of schools are working with partner schools in ‘music clusters’ to manage the increased funding for the 2018-19 financial year and inform DMEH of their plans to spend the funds on the SAF forms. Music Clusters still have flexibility to spend MEG in line with the core and extension activities outlined in the National Plan for Music Education, so long as they are able to confirm that WCET is being delivered in each school and can return data to reflect this.

In order to release the funding, it is important for each school to respond to our request for data about music education activity in your school for the current 2017-18 academic year.

I’d be grateful if you can follow this link and complete as much information as possible for the current, 2017-18 academic year.

•Please complete as much as you are able to

•Precise details are not as important to this process as DMEH gaining a good picture of what is happening musically in school.

•Please don’t delay returning this survey on account of checking precise figures. Estimations will still be very valuable to us.

Please contact Clair McColl if you have any initial queries. Please complete this as soon as possible to enable the MEG funding to be release for the benefit of your school.
