The Mix 2018

Date:
Wednesday, June 20, 2018 - 10:00 to 16:00
Venue:
Bridwell House and Deer Park, Uffculme
The Mix is Devon Music Education Hub’s annual schools’ music festival giving children and young people – and staff who work with them - the chance to be inspired by new musical experiences.

This event gives thousands of pupils the opportunity to take part in a range of hands-on workshops, learn new musical skills and enjoy professional performances, all in the stunning surroundings of Bridwell Park.

Led by the Babcock LDP Music Service team, DMEH works with a range of national and local partners to deliver the National Plan for Music Education in Devon, with high calibre organisations such as the Royal Opera House and the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra playing a big part in the festival in recent years.

The Mix will inspire and engage pupils in their musical learning and provide a stimulus for creative thinking for all those attending. Staff can return to school enthused and with increased confidence to deliver high quality musical opportunities for pupils.
