BLAST GCSE Concert with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra

The BSO Blast GCSE Concert gives students from years 8 - 11 the chance to experience a diverse variety of solo and chamber works live with professional musicians from the BOURNEMOUTH SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA.

Presented by BSO Associate Musician Patrick Bailey, the concert explores genres and styles throughout the history of music to tell the story of how music developed over hundreds of years.

Whether students are considering studying music at GCSE, or are preparing for their final exams, this concert will enhance their knowledge of instrumental music, explore high-level terminology in an interactive way, and provide them with a strong musical understanding to help them excel in their music exams.

7th November - Tor Bridge High School, Miller Way, Estover, Plymouth, PL6 8UN  

8th November - The Corn Exchange, Market Street, Exeter EX1 1BW 

Both concerts will start around 12.30pm, last for around 90 minutes and is free of charge for Devon schools.
